This print invoked ANSI Y14.5-1994 and he is citing para. Datum C has a position callout of He argues that he is allowed additional tolerance for the 3 features located based on utilizing the allowable tolerance from the position of datum C. The datum’s are A=plane, B=circle and C=circle. We have a print with a callout of 3 places. I am hoping someone will be able to help settle a debate between my manager and I in regards to the acceptability of addition “bonus” or datum shift allowance.
